On the road to Steel City

[Terra]

As the sky began to fade into the color scheme of orange and light yellow,the group of heroes and in part theives continued on their way towards Steel city.They were still some distance away,but as they walked,Pata began to tell everyone about everything he knew about his home town.

"Have you guys seen the giant buildings,I mean their so tall!I could barely even reach them when I try to fly up to them.Then theres the stores,Persia owns one of the best diner/material shops around...and then theres..."

Gem just ignored the digimon as he spoke and continued to walk as she hoped to the digi-gods that he could stop..

[Becula]

"Ooh, diners?" Kora said. "That sounds cool! I love diners, or pretty much any place that serves food! Unless its only vegetables or something but other than that I like any food place."

Harley laughed. "Of course. Kora, you're a glutton, you know that?"

"Am not," the little digimon said as she sat on Harley's head. "Are we there yet?"

"Kora, please don't start that again."

"OK....Harley and Leo sitting in a tree-"

Harley blushed deeply in embarrassment. "Kora!"

[Dameon]

Dameon laughed a little as they made their way through the mountains, curiousity crossing his mind as he spotted a few caves further up. He decided not to get any ideas though as they walked, hands stuffed in his pockets. Vee meanwhile had carefully and sneakily made it so he would end up walking nearby Gem, half-listening to Pata as he talked about his home town though couldn't help but chuckle.

[Terra]

"But whats wrong with being a glutton?Food is great!",Pata said as he could hardly wait to eat his fill when they got there."Mmm,I can almost smell dinner,could we stop and eat something now?"

"Not unless you wish to be dinner..",Gem said as she continued to walk as she seemed to have pulled out a watch of somekind and appeared to be looking it over intill she noticed Vee next to her."Is there something you need?",she asked as she put the gold watch back into her glove as she looked at him with a serious expression.

Pata shook his head and then sighed as he heard his stomach growling and sighed."So..hungry..."

[Becula]

"Me too," said Kora. "I need candy!"

Harley sighed. "Nothing is wrong with being a glutton if you don't mind becoming too big to fly, or making the person feeding you spend a bunch of money."

Kora thought for a moment. "Well, I don't gain weight, and nope, I don't mind you spending you money on me. You can keep it it up if you want."

"You're lucky you're cute."

[Dameon]

"Hm? I'm just walking," Vee said in a somewhat casual tone while smiling at Gem. He had a friendly look in his eyes, wondering if she noticed he was just trying to be friendly with her. Meanwhile Dameon laughed a bit still at Pata and Kora, especially the Biyomon and with what she said. He felt kind of bad for Harley, considering the money she probably has to spend to keep Kora satisfied.

[Terra]

Gem let one of her eye brow rise up alittle as she blinked at him and then sighed as she continued to walk onwards.She figured he was harmless,stupid..but harmless.

Pata soon rested ontop of Dameon's head as he looked towards the sky and smiled."Wow,look!You can see one of the three moons now.."<the digimon stated as he pointed upwards.

[Becula]

(Kora's still a Poromon, actually.)

"Three?" Harley said, looking up and making Kora fall off of her head. "Weird, but pretty cool. The human world just has one."

[Dameon]

Dameon looked up as well, surprised a little at hearing they had three moons. "Yeah, our world only has one.. this place is just full of surprises," He commented with a little chuckle while walking along, letting Pata rest on his head as they made their way towards Steel City. Meanwhile Vee could somewhat tell that Gem was irritated by him then sighed himself. "So.." He started, wondering what to say. He paused, then could think of nothing, so he simply kept walking.

[Terra]

Gem waited for Vee to continue after he had spoke,but then she realized he had gone silent."Um,not Im telling your how to speak,but usually when you start a conversation,your supposed to have something to say...",the Gatomon stated as she looked at him from the corner of her cat-like eyes with a smirk on her face.

"Just one moon?Now thats pretty weird,how can one moon light up your entire planet at night?",Pata asked as he looked at Harley and then Dameon with a blank expression.

[Becula]

"It doesn't light up the whole planet," Harley said. "There's some light from it, and the stars, but its still dark at night. The sun lights up our planet, well, one side anyway, while its night on the other side."

[Dameon]

Vee laughed uneasily, scratching the back of his head. "Kind of forgot what I was gonna say.. well.." He cursed under his breath at how he couldn't think of anything, then looked at her with a smile. "I'm at a blank," He laughed a bit, embarassed. There was his somewhat goofy side. "Sorry.. do you got an idea on what to talk about?" He asked.

"Yeah, what she said.. we sun on one side, the moon and stars on the other. Some of the other planets in our world have more then one moon but.. heh.. we can't exactly live on em." Dameon commented, deciding to add in that little bit of information.

[Terra]

Gem shook her head as she could not help laugh slightly,but it quickly disappeared.She didn't want him to think that he was actually that funny."Ok,fine..I'll humor you.What side of the digital world are you from?"

"Ok,I see now.We kinda have something like that..but I don't think we have different days and nights here.I think we all have night and Day at the same time in every part of the digital world...",Pata stated as he looked at them with a calm expression.

[Becula]

"That's cool," Harley said.

"Yeah," said Kora. "Are we there yet?"

Harley just sighed. Sometimes, she missed the days when Kora couldn't talk.
