[Sora Arrows]

A lone teen sat by the edge of the beach, knees curled up against his chest. His chestnut brown hair fell in front of his eyes and obscured his line of sight. But, for once, the boy didn't care what he had to see. He normally came to this place to get away from the fast-paced life of the city, instead relishing the time he spent at the waters edge. Here, he could drop the mask of idiocy he wore and simply…think.

Sora, what's wrong? I understand you well enough, and I know something's not right. For Christ's sake, you haven't climbed a single tree all day! It just isn't natural!

"I'm just…confused," the teen said, picking up a handful of sand and letting it slip between his finger. "You keep telling me about how you and Shidaimon gave birth to the legendary Warriors when you were destroyed, but I just don't get why half of them have a grudge against you."

Look, let's just say that the warrior's don't all agree with my definition of justice, as with yours. They believe that a corrupted digimon should be purified and set free – but you and I think differently. You know that when it comes down to it, the digimon in question will most likely be targeted and corrupted again.

"And so we delete them," Sora said, glancing down at his gloves and clenching them into tight fists. "Eliminate the threat once and for all, so it can't come back to harm us or our friends again."

Exactly. And when we can't, the chances of our darker side being released only grow in size. We can't let that happen, no matter how much we need it's strength. You've seen what it's capable of in its human form – hell, he's like that old bastard Duskmon way back when. The other warriors will have one hell of a time containing it. He delivers nothing but death, and if he manages to unleash his beast spirit, I doubt we'd be able to stop it.

"More great news, huh?" The teen sighed, leaning backwards and resting his head on the sand. "Why the hell did you choose me? You know you've been nothing but trouble – my grades are dropping like crazy, and now my parents think I'm on freakin' drugs!"

Because I could.

Although Aros might assume that his way is the right way, the Legendary Warriors were right as well. Of course, maybe Ryne's spirit Grumblemon might be an exception because he 'is' a Legendary Warrior.. but still, now look at him and his host. They aren't evil and they aren't being controlled or corrupted. Speaking of; Ryne had made his way to the Island via a boat he rent, wanting to get away from all the hustle and bustle of the city of Shibuya. At this point he was walking around nearby the water, hands stuffed in his pockets as he pondered. 'Its weird.. everyone else said they've spoken to their spirits at one point or another or at least felt their presence. This Grumblemon doesn't even speak to me though, even when I try to think out to him.. guess even if they pick a host, doesn't mean they have to socialize with him too.' He thought, staring at the ground in front of him as he walked.

Sora took a sharp breath as the sound of heavy footsteps reached his ears. Aros disappeared in a display of white light as he glanced over his shoulder, a single blade edging its way out of his gauntlet. He raised an eyebrow, surprised at the fact someone else had decided to visit the island – he was usually alone. He retracted the blade back into his arm and continued to stare at the water, mussing.

"Hm.." Ryne paused, feeling eyes on him. He had this sharp sense of intuition, as well as the minor intimidation factor at times. He then glanced around, taking his D-Tector out at first. He then spotted a boy much further down resting on the beach, and he let out a soft sigh. He was a bit 'too' wary at that moment.. he kept the device tightly in his hand as he continued walking, to see who it was. He was surprised as he saw it was Sora, from the Digital City. He remembered how the boy beat a Devimon without spirit evolving.. scary, but interesting.

Hey, didn’t we meet that kid before?

Sora raised an eyebrow at his spirit’s words, looking over his shoulder once more and peering at said teen. He vaguely recognized him as Ryne, although his spirit found it necessary to constantly remind his host about it was. “Oh yeah, I remember now,” Sora said, smiling triumphantly. He pulled his own D-Tector out of his pocket and waved it in the air, hoping to flag the other boy down.

[Dameon]

Ryne decided to walk on over to amuse the boy, waving in return his own D-Tector. "Hello," He said simply in a soft tone of voice as he pocketed the device, looking at Sora calmly. "What brings you here Sora?" He asked. It might be a surprise to the boy, but Ryne has a pretty damn good memory, so he recalled Sora's name almost instantly as well as everyone elses' back in the Digital World.

“Just thinking about some stuff,” the teen replied, pushing himself into a sitting position and grinning. “Dealing with my spirit’s incessant babbling, escaping the chaos that is the city, and overall just trying to keep myself from having a meltdown.” He made a kidding face before brushing some sand off his pants. “You?”

"Hm.." Ryne thought a moment then nodded, glancing out at the water before deciding to respond. "I see; I'm thinking about 'some things' too." He said rather simply. He seemed to be less enthusiastic then normal, though he hadn't shown much enthusiasm back at the Digital City either.
