Name: Ryne Cleaver
Age: 18
Birthday: 5/18/88
Gender: Male
Family: Ryne has his parents of course, although they aren't always there with him and he isnt' as close with them as most children are with parents.. due to their jobs and the fact he wasn't the only child. It actually hasn't bothered him recently since he no longer lives with them, but he does have an older brother and a baby sister, making him the middle child.
Appearance: Ryne has the kind of unique look you would expect a goggle-boy to have. (A reference to many of the main characters of the series who have unique appearances, like Davis or Takuya). He stands around 5'11 and is pretty lean and fit for his age, though sometimes his parents had complained since he seemed a bit thin to them.. which was probably true all along. An interesting note is that he has two different colored eyes, a very rare case where he was born as such and they weren't inflicted with pain or disease. Another interesting case is that he inherited a somewhat rare eye color combination, one being blue -which is dubbed the second most common- and green -which is one of the rarest eye colors-. He has wild black hair which seems to cover a bit of his ears as well as a bit of one of his eyes as well. The only scary thing is that sometimes they can seem pretty bright, making him look fierce if he glares at someone..
Along with this he wears a brown shirt with black streaks down the sleeves, as well as two vertical streaks about an inch long in width coming down the front of the shirt and the back of the shirt. WIth this Ryne wears light brown trousers and regular tennis shoes. To compliment his appearance he also wears tan-ish wristbands.
Personality: Ryne is kind-hearted -and sometimes sarcastic- to say the least, though tends to keep to himself at times in the Real World. Its not that he doesn't like making friends because he does, its just because of a past and tragic incident with friends a while ago that makes him want to be by himself when he can -though he isn't one to skip out on helping people or current friends if necessary or asked, or if he wants to-. He finds himself thoroughly amused and happy when he just relaxes and watches the sky and clouds, a classic 'lazy' person yet he really isnt'. Another funny thing is that there have been times where girls have had crushes on him which were a bit influenced by his appearance, yet Ryne has never noticed it.
Opinions:
Opinion of Battle: He would prefer not to battle unless it was for a good cause, though with the addition of his spirit he has found himself to have a much more.. shall we say lusting to fight. But he does have pretty solid control over this heightened desire. The only times he would give in to this is when its for a good cause, its to save someone, or if someone really, 'really' ticked him off. Then the war begins.. not literally, but yeah. However its one thing to spar or being asked to fight. If one tried to force him to fight, he would probably initially deny doing so.
Opinion of Digimon: Ryne's opinion about digimon is actually more positive then others', to the point where he is generally more comfortable around them then other human beings. This is due to the fact that sometimes humans can't defend themselves properly and successfully, while digimon have these powers that can keep themselves and others safe. This and him having a spirit influences him and makes him care deeply about the safety of Digimon and the Digital World. -Its probably influenced by the fact his human self couldn't help the death that he saw before his eyes when he was younger. He doesn't consider his own species weak or feeble though-.
However the one drawback to this is that he stays in the Digital World for extended periods of time. Sure time is practically frozen in the Real World (and if my theory's correct, so is his aging) and he can do a lot of cool things, but he also has a life in the Real World as well. He eventually convinces himself to go back though, realizing this eventually and being able to quicker as time progresses.
Opinion of Self: He considers himself okay, and has more confidence in himself now that he has a Digimon Spirit, and not only that but a Legendary Warrior spirit. Before he would have doubted his own strength but knowing that he could now positively influence others' lives with much less chances of messing up, it makes him happier too and more confident in his own power. Maybe it would eventually lead him to understand that what happened in the past wasn't his fault and he would slowly come to terms with it and bury it once and for all, as well as his own thoughts about himself and his world.
Strengths/Good Qualities: It is easy to see that Ryne is kind-hearted and can be understanding about other peoples' problems, not allowing his own past issues to influence his words. He also has a knack for fighting and doesn't give up very easily either, due to his own desires as well as the Legendary Warrior of Earth's persona and powers.
Weaknesses/Bad Qualities: He doesn't have too many bad qualities despite the fact that he doesn't socialize as much as he could. He would need influencing in order to do so. He can also be a tad reckless as well at times, especially when fighting. (Its Grumblemon we're talking about).
Special Abilities: He has no abilities at the moment, other then his and his D-Tector's ability to allow him to turn into a digimon.
