Name: Feral Clawblade.
Age: 17.
Birthday: 24 December 1990.
Gender: Male.
Family:
* Father - His father has been missing when he set out to investigate the strange life forms known as Digimon, and has never been seen since.
* Mother: - A gentle, benevolent woman who helped run a hat shop in the center of his town
* Younger sister - A brilliant, dreaming fair girl of sixteen who stayed at home instead of embarking on a journey to support her family, but studied liberal arts in Fruy's public schools.
Appearance: The boy is a pretty creature, made so perhaps by his gentle smiles that constantly pull at his lips, and the utter good will he radiates, but his figure his mildly malnourished and runty. Hardly the stature one might expect of a desirable man of the future. But he is young, and it is fine to have rounded limbs still soft and fragile with baby fat, in several more years all of that will fade away to time and effort in training and toiling that would bring muscle to anyone's figure and scars that would be made apparent to the world, ones he wouldn't need to hide beneath thick shirts and scarves. Rather, those scars might be stories of his past that he might one day be even proud of.
The child’s face is heart shaped, his high cheek bones hidden for now under that persistent baby fat that are constantly blushing pink, for he is quite the healthy creature despite his poor diet. The eyes that rest in said head are wide, bright, intelligent, and so focused on every detail of the world that it might seem that those pale blue pools want to lap everything up, remember every gorgeous detail so that he might always be happy, for nothing in the world he has ever set his gaze upon could be considered less. Sadly, his eyes are not often seen by others, his bangs of pale yellow often fall in the way. But he's happy with that, finding it oddly amusing when people attempt to swipe it out of his face, though something so rude as that only happens on occasion. The rest of his hair falls in long waves, just past the jaw bone, curling lightly as it reaches its ends. Such pretty hair, likely to be tainted by darker hues once he ages a tad bit more.
Clothes-wise the child always dresses himself as if were winter. Even in summer weather a darkly hued jacket would be found wrapped around him, and a scarf covering his lengthy neck and lower face. It confuses many people, but it seems the boys natural body temperature is just low, though he does adore snow.
Personality: Feral is...well, rather unlucky. Or lucky. Sometimes, it’s hard to tell. In any case, nothing ever goes according to how he planned it to. This doesn’t mean that he fails at everything, just that he tends to have both bad and good luck butting
in at all times. It leads to a lot of frustration, or perhaps confusion would be a better term.
In any case, Feral is rather easily distracted, and either too talkative, or absurdly pessimistic. He can’t seem to get even his own priorities straight, generally because as soon as he decides on one thing, something goes wrong, or something seemingly better comes along. Sheer chance seems to decide for him, generally.
Feral tends to be somewhat quiet and thoughtful, and much, much easier to get along with when he’s not actually trying to accomplish something at any given time. If he’s not worried about what could go wrong, or right, or differently, he’s a lot easier to get along with. To be honest, his life has made him rather paranoid about almost anything he does. When one lives under an almost constant Murphy’s law, one tends to worry about what can go wrong.
However, always having things go against plans makes it more likely that one would be prepared for things to happen. He’s gotten decent at turning bad fortune around. Or, at the least, rolling with the punches. It’s the absolute unpredictability that makes him rather easily irritated, or easily confused, depending.
Good fortune also tends to look upon him a decent amount. Feral finds that even with the Murphy’s Law syndrome he has, that things, often as not, will turn out with him not on the bottom. Not always at the top, but chance similar to that of what destroyed his plans allows him to keep right on going. It’s rather akin to slipping on a patch of ice, and by doing so, skidding out of the way of a branch that was about to fall on top of you. Bad luck, good luck. An odd analogy, but hopefully, it gives an idea of what I’m trying to convey.
Feral likes Digimon, and likes order. Order, he doesn’t see much of. He also likes predictability, travelling, and things to behave rationally. Two out of those three, he doesn’t get nearly enough of. He enjoys a good joke, but tends to avoid telling them, somehow managing to mess up punchlines more often than not, or other such. The one thing he’d like more than anything, though, is to be able to lead a perfectly ordinary, predictable life. This will never happen...but a guy can dream, can’t he?
As to hating, well, he’d hate more things, if it weren’t for the fact that life hates him, and so if he hates something too much, he’s bound to end up having to deal with it. So he tries very hard not to hate things. But he does hate his life...or at least whatever imp of the perverse chose to give him such an overabundance of both types of luck.
Opinions:
Opinion of Battle: Battling is a necessity for survival, so why not? Feral thinks that battling is a must to survive, and not to mention, get along with life. Without competition, life has no fun in it...right?
Opinion of Digimon: Having lived together with his father who was a Digimon investigator, his idea of Digimon was never fixed, especially when his father related his discoveries in letters. However, Feral's curiosity is intrigued, and would definitely like to see a real Digimon.
Opinion of Self: He has some confidence in himself, but his bad luck usually brings him down in an overall way.
Strengths/Good Qualities: Feral is willing to help others, as well as hear them out. He too can be a good friend, especially when the opposing side is kind-hearted. He takes easily to most kinds of people, and even if he doesn't like some people--he'll try his best to take to them.
Weaknesses/Bad Qualities: Feral is sort of like a bad luck attractor, so when he is in a bout of bad luck, usually the ones around him would be involved in the bad luck too. He can also fly into a rage fairly easily, but calms down soon after with a bit of time given to him.
Special Abilities: The ability to control and aura.
Background: As a child, Feral lived a quiet life in the charming but humble town of Fruy in one of the Dimensions, specifically 9. He lived with his mother, a gentle, benevolent woman who helped run a hat shop in the center of his town, and his younger sister Shannon, a brilliant, dreaming fair girl of sixteen who stayed at home instead of embarking on a journey to support her family, but studied liberal arts in Fruy's public schools. Neither Feral nor Shannon knew their father well, for he had abandoned them to discover his own passions—of Digimon investigating in faraway lands—and the family has lost all contact with him since his departure ten years ago. Although an older gentleman named Winston acts as a benefactor for the family and a sagacious mentor for both Feral and Shannon, there still lies a void in the two children’s souls as to their absent father figure.
For the majority of his life, Feral stayed in school and devoted himself to his studies, sharpening his talents in writing and reading to understand life and the world he inhabits, as well as a stockpiling a base of other fictional and non-fictional topics and genres in his mind, allowing an escape from his otherwise trivial life. Among many shallow companions, Kien indulged in the friendship, and eventually romance, of an almost ethereal girl named Amy, somehow bound by threads of destiny in their interests in the arts, nature, and Digimon (particularly bird Digimon, for both marvelled at the creatures’ astounding freedom and flight towards the heavens). Amy was Feral's underlying reason for his capabilities to love, live, feel, and dream in his otherwise hollow existence. However, when Amy was murdered (the cause or murderer is considered confidential information, though it is believed to be an accidental cause instead of planned slaughter), Feral blamed himself for her death, and, as a result, continues to carry a heavy burden in his soul.
In this unresolved conflict, Winston offered Feral wise advice to perhaps go on a journey, so that he could find redemption in his heart for what he has done, and eventually persuaded him to travel throughout the Dimension as a Digimon investigator, like his father. Feral hoped, as he travelled to the crossroads where he would set out, to find peace and absolution absent within himself. He promised on Amy's solemn grave that in his sojourn the Digimon he befriends and captures are not weapons of war, but as companions capable of emotion and thought, as well as to never forget his immense bonds to his broken family and to Amy.
Favorite Digimon(s): Anything powerful and speedy.
Least Favorite Digimon(s): None. He can't hate anything, and most of the time, its they who hate him.
Tamer, Biohuman, or Legendary Warrior: Tamer.
Digivice Color/Look: Black and Silver scheme.
Main Form: Betamon, Child.
Nickname: Haru.
Gender: Male.
Digivolution Track:
Botamon-Koromon-Betamon-Rinkmon-Raidramon-Airdramon-Zudomon-Seraphimon
Appearance: You know what he looks like, so I'll take this as a Defining Marks section.
His body is more or less a prussian blue tinge when he is in Botamon form. In his Baby II stage, there is a V-shaped mark at the corner of his left eye. When he is a Betamon, his stripes are a contrasting white against his dark green skin. There seems to be a number of scars on the lower part of his tail, nearing towards the inside of his tail. His Perfect form has inscriptions of holy writing on his tusks and horn, as well as his mallet, which brings upon some effects in battle. Haru's Crest when he is a Seraphimon is different; instead of the usual Crest of Hope on his body, he has the image of the Crest of Protection on him.
Personality: Haru is absolutely barking mad. He loves things that glitter and when he sees something he wants, his eyes glitter just as much as the item does. He's crazy, in all honesty but hardly short tempered. It takes withdrawal to get him really angry and its hardly ever that he goes through. He has an opposite reaction to near death moments. When he is in a life threatening situation, instead of losing his head like a pansy, he grins and almost seems glad. That could have something to do with the fact that sometimes he lapses into hidden maniac depression that he hides from all. He's trying to kill himself but unfortunately he always manages to have his brain over ride the rest of him and it usually gets him out of trouble.
When you first meet Haru and you give him a quick once over, he seems sophisticated, eloquent, and even maybe well educated. Don't get me wrong, he is educated, but he's not sophisticated. Its after you start really talking to him that you see he's not the most level headed people in the world. In truth, he doesn't really know how to function and he's a bit clingy, teetering on the edge of being a nymphomaniac or a socio path. But don't worry, he's not highly dangerous in anyway and the worst that can happen while he's hugging you or whatever, is you have the possibility of having a missing wallet after he departs.
Adding to the madness of Haru's personality are certain quirks, such as his kleptomania and sensitivity to alcohol, drugs, or sugar, any of which cause him to hear music and to start singing. Even radioactivity gives him a good buzz. On the list of his favourite past times is messing with people's minds and thoroughly confusing them. Humanity is something that thoroughly interests him and its flaws are an endless source of amusement for him. Not only this but small gadgets are too. Small gadgets and anything that makes noise.
Underneath all his insanity and madness, lays a very gentle person who is, despite how greedy he is, extremely giving, especially if close enough to him. You can't help but after awhile to like him.
Opinions:
Opinion of Battle: Battling is something Haru has lived his life for, and the habit had intensified ever since he met Feral. It might be because of Feral's reluctance to battle, and such he has to protect him. Later on, he had made a deal with Feral to protect him, and thus, he is always involved in battle. Although battling is one of his habits, he doesn't really take to combat. But if someone challenges him to a battle, or he decides to stand up for someone, no one can stop him, not even Feral. Haru thinks of battle as a way to stand up for the weak and do justice.
Opinion of Humans: Haru doesn't really dislike humans, but you can't say that he really likes them. It is more or less like a neutral condition, but if one human were to become his Tamer, he will most certainly take to that particular human. The humans that he really dislikes are the humans that are self-confident, together with a bunch of other negative traits. Haru too dislikes humans that think that they are gods, and think of Digimon as data and nothing more than that.
Opinion of Self: He is rather confident of himself, however, that doesn't mean that he is cocky. Haru is just confident in his ability to protect the weak and provide answers to the always curious Feral. A good way to describe himself is 'stands up for the weak, yet doesn't stand up for himself'. It is true; he somehow cannot muster the courage and defend himself when he isn't protecting someone, and that makes him so weak and yet so strong. Usually he just lets his brain control him instead of his instincts, so that keeps him sane at moments where others would be driven to pieces.
Abilities:
Offense: Betamon are known for their tendency to strike with about 100,000 volts of electrical energy when provoked, and Haru isn't hesitant to use it to his advantage, especially in tough situations. His wide array of moves from magical to melee to long-ranged basically makes him a versatile Digimon. But when he is in his Adult form, his medley of moves ranging from fire to ice is what makes him a formidable opponent. However, sometimes his reluctance to harm someone makes him tone down the impact of his attack.
Defense: Haru prefers to use water towers to protect himself rather than trying to evade, because his scuttling on the ground while trying to dodge isn't something very easy to do if you're an amphibian. But if he is forced to, he can evade by rolling, but he cannot attack if he is rolling. It is because he is no Wormmon, who spews nets while rolling. However, if he manages to train himself in the skill of unleashing his electric attack while rolling, he is not too shabby. He can raise his Defence by means of his Aqua Magic attack, which raises a bit of every stat, except for Defence, which is raised by a certain amount depending on energy used.
Speed: Haru is rather swift on his feet when in Betamon form, especially while in water. He is a master in water, and one should underestimate him when you encounter him in combat underwater. When he takes to the skies in Airdramon form, he too is rather swift, being able to utilize the power of wind to propel him. When Haru is a Zudomon, his speed in icy areas as well as water is nothing to sneer at, but he is rather slow when on land, of course. As for Seraphimon, there is definitely no problem in both air and land, but the problem faced by him is water. It all goes around in a circle.
Intellect/Wit: For someone like Haru who leaves everything to his brain, wit comes naturally to him, but to tell the truth, he doesn't like to think out his strategy much. He prefers to simply form a priority list which compares his strengths to his opponent's weakness, and his weaknesses to his foe's strengths, and at the very top of that list is protecting someone. But then again, that is considered strategy, but in another form. He doesn't care much about using his wits to get him out of sticky situations, but likes to use them to see if anything in the surroundings can help him in his endeavour for victory.
Recooperation: Due to his disliking the drugs and medicines administered by the relevant people in the hospital, Haru tries to stay away from them. His natural healing isn't too good either, and that makes him slow to recuperate from fights. That's why he makes it very important to not get hurt, because then he would be put out of combat for a while and some Digimon that really needed to be protected would just have to wait, which Haru desperately tries to avoid.
Background: Haru was born from a pure white egg with jagged stripes of apple green. He used to be pushed around by other older Digimon. His constant pleas of attention were ignored, and it seemed to Haru that the more he cried from the teasing, the happier the other Digimon grew. And so, a strong burning desire to protect other Digimon from this kind of teasing grew within Haru. It was then that he decided that with whatever life he had left within him would go to this cause, and so it was set. He slowly learned how to not provoke the other Digimon and stay clear out of their way, but somehow they still came after him. Haru then placed the blame on his being weak, and then wanted to change the fact.
A Baby I Digimon couldn't train that much, and although he tried his best to train himself up so he wouldn't be pushed around that much, but naturally, he failed. But Haru did not give up, and despite the cuts and scratches that he sustained on his body, he still pushed on. His efforts were not in vain, for he managed to evolve to Koromon after much hardship. It was then that the other Digimon began to resent him, and eventually try to shake him off, for he was a menace to the others with his sheer determination and will to survive and not be defeated. Haru once sank his fangs deep into an Agumon's leg when he kicked him, which wasn't an attempt to strike him, but more like an action on part of his instincts.
Anyway, he was punished well and good for that, but Haru placed it behind him. Soon, he decided that he wasn't getting anywhere with his ideals and dreams where he was now, and after evolving to Betamon, he set out. During the second day that he set out, he met a Renamon who was being harassed by a Gazimon. Being the righteous soul he is, Haru immediately helped the vixen, and she thanked him. He then journeyed with her until she reached her destination, before parting ways. Happy that he had helped someone, he continued along the road, but then he met a DORUmon which was having trouble with his own conscience. Naturally, Haru helped sort out the matter, but what he didn't expect was that the DORUmon suddenly underwent a rage driven evolution, to Death-X DORUgamon.
Haru found himself on the run from the crazed beast, but deep down, he knew that he couldn't keep on running. He had to face Death-X DORUgamon somehow, and he wasn't going to succeed when he was still a Betamon. Haru did some training with a willing-to-help Mushmon, learned how to use his techniques better before finally turning around and facing Death-X DORUgamon. Although they were almost evenly matched in close combat, when it came to the skies, Death-X DORUgamon was at his best there, and Haru couldn't do anything to stop himself from being beaten to a pulp. Then he realized that he too, needed to evolve to beat this beast, but how? He returned to the Mushmon, and found out that he needed a strong will and an equally strong drive to win within him.
He finally went back to face the Death-X DORUgamon, and they began a rematch. It was unknown whether the opponent got a grip on himself, or it was the fact that Haru was much stronger than before. Yet he still did not manage to evolve to Airdramon, despite the hard fights and training that he had put himself through. He was sad for a moment, but then decided to forget about it and concentrate on really helping the DORUmon. By now, the beast had already calmed down, and Haru, with consoling, managed to succeed in helping the DORUmon.
He then went to a shop run by an Andromon, where he tried to get some medicine. After taking the herbs, he found himself getting weaker. And finally, darkness claimed him as their own.
