General Rules
~Quite some Rules.. they are easy and important though~
#1 - This isn't really a rule but an idea on what the board 'rating' is. In otherwords, I'm using theatre ratings in order to show how far you can go via your details and such. Normally it would be 'T' or 'PG-13', but my fellow affilate A New Digital Chance has their board rating to R, so I am doing the same. I expect good control in the members and staff despite this.. and I don't think I need to go into explanation as to 'what' you can do, as long as you do it with the utmost control. I better not see graphic situations -such as gore and extremely graphic violence, as well as explicit sexual situations.. probably missing a few things too-, otherwise I will bump down the rating as well as your freedom with these sort of things. Thank you for understanding.
#2 - Be respectful to the members and staff of this board. That means no flaming, cursing, teasing, insulting, or putting any of your negative energy towards them. Many of the people here came to have fun and roleplay, and all of us have feelings too. If I see someone putting down another member in some shape or form, I will intervene and warn you. More serious things; such as threatening and/or flaming someone else, I will take the necessary precautions such as banning you a certain amount of time, or even blocking your IP Address. So please keep this simple rule in mind; be nice and don't try to hurt other people's feelings.
#3 - No over-excessive use of cursing. I am bending slightly to allowing the board to have a more mature and darker tone -fyi, more mature themes-, but that doesn't mean you can prance around with your character, mouthing off the 'f' word several dozen times. Easy rule which needs no more explaining, keep this sort of behavior and cursing to a moderate minimum.
#4 - No explicit sexual content, which obviously means things such as posting pictures or written work of any kind that involves 'that' sort of thing. Its kind of an obvious rule, but it doesn't mean your banned from even going into that realm. If something like that is about to happen between characters, you put 'Fade To Black' or something, and skip past that scene to the end; we don't want to see it, to put it bluntly. (Hint, there is such a thing as PM RPing, oh my god, *laughs*) Why I'm tripping all over this is because this sort of thing is one of the few that can get a board closed up for good. In otherwords, trouble for everyone. I may allow people to have PFs, Private Forums..
#5 - Simple enough.. there's an area to play your spam games to your heart's content. The rule is to not spam anywhere else.. which means going 'LOLOLOLOLOL' berserk-o random.
#6 - There is no need for more then one account. I have seen several boards before where a person had several accounts, one for each character. There's no need for it; its called a Character List. I am highly suggesting that people keep a link to their list in their signatures. Its not required, but helps if they have a lot of characters.
#7 - Do not be asking to join the staff. There will be some times where I search for someone to help alongside us, but until then, do not ask to join. If you do, your chances of being a staff member will go down significantly.
