A cloud of dirt floated along the ground as a strange looking train pulled to a stop, letting off a single passenger before moving again. A cough was hear and a tall, dark haired girl stepped out of the dirt cloud, coughing and swearing.
"Wha- what the fuck? A desert? What the fuck kind of train drops someone off in the middle of a fucking desert?!" As the dirt settled, she saw the train was gone. "And takes off so fast, leaving me stranded!" She yelled, as if hoping the train would hear her. After all, it had spoken to her back at the station as they left. A Trailmon, it was called. "Of come the fuck on!" She yelled, kicking what she assumed was a clump of dirt, only to hit her foot on a large rock. Luckily, she was wearing her combat boots.
Brushing a dark green strand of hair from her face, the 18 year-old sighed as she looked around. "Why the hell am I here?"
Suddenly, the voice from her dream came into her head. You're close. Now find the pyramid. You'll know which. Its upside down. I'm waiting in the tomb.
"An upside down pyramid? You have got to be kidding me," the girl said, though it looked like she was talking to herself. But luckily, no one was around, or so she thought. Couldn't she live in...I don;t know..a house like normal people?!
She then began to follow the compass, beginning her journey towards the upside down pyramid.

Unbeknownst to the girl, a sixteen year old boy had been sitting atop the Trailmon during its entire trip – having jumped off at the exact same place as her. He had hidden himself behind a boulder when he started to hear her curse like crazy, figuring she might not be the most stable of people.
“Now what, Aros?” he asked his spirit, his voice barely above a whisper. He clambered atop the rock and pressed his body against it, staring at the person in question. She looked maybe two, three years older than him, with dark hair and hard eyes.
“Well, she certainly doesn’t look friendly,” the spirit said, appearing next to him in a cross-legged position. “On the other hand, she does have a D-Tector. I say we follow her, if only to check out that kick-ass pyramid thing…” With that, the spirit disappeared, leaving Sora to his own devices.
“Here goes nothing,” he muttered, slipping off the rock and cautiously approaching the pyramid.

As Claudia walked, she could hear footsteps behind her. They were a good distance behind her, but enough to be heard. She then stopped. Without even looking at Sora, she said, "If you're following me, don't. I walk alone," she said coldly, as a rock a small rock levitated off of the ground, floating into her hand. She frowned. She had been aiming for the bigger one. Oh weal, a small stone could still cause pain, so it worked for now. "I suggest you leave."

Sora smirked, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow. “What, you think a rock’s gonna stop me?” he said, grinning cockily. He could hear Aros’ laughter in the back of his head, obviously amused at the girl’s threat. “Please, I’ve dealt with so shit so bad it makes that look like a Teletubby.” He continued walking forward, his hands wrapped around the back of his head. “Besides, It’s not like I have anywhere else to be. So you might as well deal with it – Aros and I aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.”

"Whatever. Fine, if you're headed where I'm going, then don't walk close to me, don't touch me, and don't talk to me," the dark haired girl said, as she then continued forward. She looked back at her D-tector, hoping she'd find the upside down pyramid soon.

“Jeez, what crawled up her ass and died?” Sora asked his spirit, who had appeared next to him. The warrior of Chaos shrugged his shoulders, face hidden beneath his pitch black hood. “I mean, I’ve hard of personal space issues, but this is ridiculous.”
The warrior jogged forward next to Claudia, walking beside her and grinning like an idiot. “This is the cool thing about being a spirit!” he yelled to Sora, pulling off his hood. “She can’t see, hear, or even feel me! I can do whatever I want and get away with it!” To make his point, he stuck his head through her stomach, making Sora chuckle.
“You’re insane,” he said, realizing he must really seem insane. Not that he cared – sooner or later she’d probably find out why he was talking to "himself". “Aros, what the hell are you doing?” he practically screamed, watching him stick his incorporeal head in places he probably shouldn’t.
“Hey, no harm done!” the spirit replied, hastily pulling his head back and scowling.

"What the hell are you yelling about?" Claudia asked, still not looking at him. "And who the fuck is Aros?"

“My invisible sprit buddy,” he replied instantly, grinning like a loon. If he was going to annoy this girl as much as he thought he was, he might as well have some fun with it. “Isn’t that right, Aros?”
“Dude, she is SO going to kick your ass,” the spirit responded, appearing next to his host and rolling his eyes. “Just so you know, if she does start wailing on you, I’m just gonna sit back and watch. I’ve always wanted to see you get beat up by a girl.” With that, he despaired back into Sora, occupying a dark corner of the teen’s mind.

Claudia then stopped, finally turning around. "Spirit, you say? Hmph. Interesting," she said. Interestingly enough she was following the voice of a spirit as well, but she decided not to admit that, and so she turned around and began walking again. Soon, the upside down pyramid could be seen in the far distance.

“Cool,” Sora said, looking at the pyramid and raising an eyebrow. “Reminds me of that art project Kyra did back in elementary school, except it’s not covered in glue.” He heard Aros sigh in the back of his mind, obviously annoyed with Sora’s attitude. Rolling his eyes, the boy walked past the girl and continued forward.

Once they reached the large upside down pyramid, Claudia said, "Wait here. I don't need anyone's help." She then began to walked into it, following the path she had taken in her dreams. "This better be worth all the damn trouble," she said to herself.

Sora rolled his eyes, clasping a hand over his D-Tector. “Please. You thought I came all this way to help you out? I’m just here for the adventure.” With that, he followed the girl inside, eyes scanning the path he took.

"Whatever. Find your own adventure," Claudia said, disappearing behind a corner and continuing her walk. However, she soon fell through the ground and into another room, a tomb, just like the one in her dream. "OK, what now?" She said to herself, or the spirit. She then noticed strange codes on the walls, but didn't have the faintest idea what they could mean. Probably some BS about curses or something.
"Open the tomb, release me!" The voice said loudly in her mind.
Claudia then began to push the led, making it move slowly, until it was open enough for a dark shadow to rise from it, forming a digimon slowly, though data seemed to be fading a bit.
"You did. For years I was trapped inside, weak and unable to feed, due to a certain angel sealing me away. But now that I am free, I can reclaim my power! I am Pechemon, the Spirit of Sin!"
"Yeah, OK. Now you said something about me getting power?" Claudia said, folding her arms and waiting.
"Yes. You and I will share great power, but, for that, I must share your energy and being. I am weak, having not fed in centuries, perhaps a millenium even. Therefore, we must fuse."
"Fuse? What do you-?" The girl began before the humanoid digimon approached her, slowly growing more solid. Her eyes were hidden by dark, snake-like hair, but a fanged smile could be seen. Pechemon was partially a vampire type digimon, and she looked at Claudia hungrily, before suddenly sinking her fangs into the girl's neck. As this happened, a strange and dark mist swirled around them, as light emanated from the girl's digivice. When the mist left, there was but one being- Pechemon, completely solid again.
She was dressed in a crimson dress, that if touched, it would be discovered to be seemingly soaked with blood. Over the dress, she wore armor such as onyx shoulder pads and arm guards, as well as a matching chest piece. And above that was a black leather overcoat. A high slit on the left side of the dress revealed that she wore black leather boots, heals made of spikes.
Her snake hair was long, made of thin, dark colored snakes that seemed dormant at the moment, but could attack a nearby enemy with razor sharp fangs or venom. Some of the snakes fell into her pale face, covering her eyes, but leaving her fanged mouth exposed.
"Wh-what happened?" Claudia's voice said from the digimon, looking at her hands, the right holding a dagger, the other nothing.
Pechemon then took over. "I am not a part you, you can access my power whenever you wish, and I can seize control of you whenever I wish. I did this for two reason, so my own body could recover, and to have a body that I can go out in sunlight in. We are now one."

“Sounds like someone just found a spirit,” Sora said, leaning up against a wall. He hadn’t bothered with following the girl – and by the sound of it, it was a good thing he hadn’t. “And from what I can tell, it’s not a very nice one. Aros, input here would be appreciated.”
Get your D-Tector out, the spirit commanded, his voice all business. I really don’t like the feel of this at all. Something doesn’t seem right. Sora pulled out his D-Tector as a ring of fractal code ignited around his free hand, casting the tomb in a blue glow. And stay on guard. I’m going to go down and check this out. If it is a spirit, it’ll be able to see me.
With that, the spirit left Sora’s body and phased through the floors, his trench coat pulled tight against his body. He found himself in an elaborately decorated tomb, with a rather peculiar looking woman in it. He then, oh so eloquently, voiced his opinion about the situation.
“Oh shit. It's you.”
